Job Summary:

Provide care for critically ill patients with central/invasive lines, hemodynamic pressure lines, pressure monitoring devices, temporary pacing, artificial airway/mechanical ventilation, care of the immediate post-op open heart patient, care of Watchman and TAVR patients, as well as post-cardiac cath patients.

Job Responsibilities:

Accurately completes physical and psychosocial assessments of assigned patients. Implements the nursing process to promote quality care based on assessed needs. Establishes a care plan by setting realistic goals and outcome criteria in collaboration with the patient, family, and health-care team.

  • An ability to work in a dynamic and intense environment that requires quick thinking and excellent analytical and assessment skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Excellent technical skills such as intravenous management and ventilator care
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse licensed in PA
  • Strong background knowledge in hemodynamics, arrythmia management, pathophysiology and pharmacology
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Clearances as required by law
