Position Summary:

The resource nurse, under the day-to-day supervision of the assigned nursing supervisor, provides support to staff nurses by assisting with clinical care, proactive rounding, flow management and staff mentoring. Assist staff with procedures, policies, and care of patients on the inpatient floors.

Required Skills & Knowledge: Professional and positive attitude; ability to multitask and embrace team work; excellent critical thinking and organizational skills; demonstrate strong knowledge of caring and treating patients with complex medical and surgical health care needs; strong telemetry and IV skills.

Education: BSN required, MSN preferred or equivalent experience

Experience: RN for a minimum of 5 years

Certification/Licensure: MA RN license, BLS and ACLS required

Software/Hardware: MediTech experience preferred
