RN - Assistant Nurse Manager / Full Time / Days

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse who has the responsibility for the management of patient care provided by departmental personnel. They assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care of the departmental patients in order to ensure that patients and families receive an optimum level of care. Responsible for the operations of assigned department. Demonstrate productive and efficient management skills. Promotes quality awareness and achieving the highest standard of excellence. Ensures performance improvement initiatives are implemented. Monitors staff performance. Collaborates with staff, physicians and the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and accurate implementation in accordance with patient care standards.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate from an approved nursing educational program

Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred.

Current Florida RN License

Current BLS and ACLS Certification
