Night Shift House Supervisor RN contract available at Tempe St. Lukes in Tempe, Arizona.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program, a valid license to practice in the State.
  • Minimum of two-years of Hospital House Supervisor RN nursing experience and proven competency within areas of hire
  • ACLS and BLS certification

JOB SUMMARY:

House Supervisor - Registered Nurse

Maintains oversight responsibilities for all activities throughout the hospital in the absence of department managers and the administrative team to assure that services are provided in a safe, effective, and efficient manner as appropriate for the various age groups.

The House Supervisor must maintain a high level of clinical expertise in order to provide assistance to various units and act as a resource. Effectively interact with patients, significant others, physicians, and other health team members while maintaining professional nursing standards. Ensures that care is of the best quality, is cost contained, and is carried out in an expeditious manner. Consults with staff, physicians and Chief Clinical Officer on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
