Summary: The House Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Health System on the off shifts, holidays, and weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Role models are compassionate and respectful communication with patients, significant others, physicians, and health care providers during all interactions.
- Collaborates with staffing clerks and nurse managers to ensure appropriate matching of human and material resources with current patient care needs.
- Continually rounds on patient care areas to assess environment of care for safety, noise level, cleanliness, care delivery, and patient satisfaction.

- Holds staff accountable for delivering high quality patient care and evaluating patient progress toward defined outcomes.
- Collaborates with the Director accountable for efficient flow of patients through the system during their shift.
- Answers patient call lights and ensures a timely response to patient needs or requests.
- Identifies opportunities for performance improvement and projects designed to improve clinical performance within and across departmental lines.
- Responds to all emergency situations including but not limited to code red, code blue, trauma response, disasters, and emergency C-sections. Informs appropriate management personnel when emergency warrants reporting.
- Arranges for emergency surgery and recovery during hours when the operating room/PACU is closed.
- Communicates to Directors on issues requiring oversight/follow-up.

Requirements:
- RN Licensed in the State of PA
- Bachelor's Degree
- CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS within 90 days of hire
- Background Checks - as required by State and Federal Law
- Three Years’ experience
