Provides care to patients birth to elderly, performing all functions in a professional and ethical manner. Collaborates with other health care team members to ensure quality patient care. . The RN utilizes the nursing process, the environment, and other health care resources to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of all patients assigned.
Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing from the State of Pennsylvania required.
Licenses/Certificates: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required. Chemotherapy Certification required for Oncology Department within 2 yrs of hire date. Trauma education curriculum completion within 6 months of hire and then annually for Orthopedics. A thorough knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and their application required. Excellent communication skills required. Must complete and maintain required departmental competencies.
