Scheduling Clerk
Take in bound and making outbound calls to schedule patients for procedures, tests, and specialty referrals. Calls patients scheduled for services to remind them of appointment time and preparation. Interviews patients or their representative when scheduling to obtain personal information or verify information previously on file, including insurance information. Forward information to the appropriate departments. The scheduler will speak to and work with patients and physician offices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical terminology and or anatomy understanding
- Computer, typing, and multitasking skills
- Great customer service
- Self-starter and self-motivator
- Detail oriented

This position is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Steward Health Care Workforce.
