Newly opened in July 2019, Florence Hospital, a campus of Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 36-bed hospital offering emergency care, as well as surgical, imaging and laboratory services. The hospital’s experienced team of doctors and nurses work together to provide expert care and the best possible patient experience to residents of Pinal County.

Job Summary:

Florence Hospital offers the following services:

  • Emergency Care
  • Imaging
  • Lab Services
  • Surgical Services

The Staff Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with orders from the referring physician. Evaluation and treatment programs are developed through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to improve communication and/or swallowing efficiency. The Speech-Language Pathologist functions in accordance with their State Practice Act.

Flexible on call hours available. Time and half pay if called in during scheduled on call time for time in the facility. Weekends are 8 hours on call.

Job Requirement:

-Current Arizona State License to administer Speech-Language Therapy Services

-Biannual CPR certification and completion of mid-cycle CPR demonstration.

-COAP Certification

-Annual online learning requirements

-Ability to read and communicate effective in English.

-Additional languages preferred

-Basic computer knowledge
