Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position Summary: Staff Nurse Psych Unit Evenings FT 40 Hours

Essential Functions:

• Performs nursing duties in the assigned Behavioral Health department.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care.
• Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Supervises LPNs and non-licensed personnel in the psychiatric acute care setting.
• Communicates with coordinator, physicians, charge nurse and co-workers as appropriate about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
2. Experience: Previous Behavioral Health Experience Preferred
3. Certification/Licensure: Current RN licensure in Massachusetts,
4. BLS,
5. COAP within 30 days of onboarding
6. Other: Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search. Use or possession of a firearm and/or other weapons is prohibited.
