Job description

Coordinates and supervises RNs, CNAs, non-licensed personnel and is responsible for the coordination of staffing efforts at all market hospitals in order to promote efficiency and decrease overall agency usage and overtime. The Staffing Coordinator, under supervision of the Staffing Manager, will maintain an efficient level and mix of personnel in relation with patient census, and alerts the Staffing Manager of any nursing staffing problems. Assists the Staffing Manager with coordination / monitoring / evaluation of unit staff and activities, including but not limited to education, staff evaluations, hiring process, performance improvement, policies and procedures, and scheduling. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to communicate, educate, and provide a therapeutic and safe environment for specific age groups served. While addressing the needs of co-workers demonstrates respect for the diversity of individual values, cultures, spiritual beliefs, and other socio-economic issues. Performs other duties as assigned.


  1. Current/Active Florida Registered Nurse License (RN) OR Approved Multi-State License
  2. American Red Cross OR American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR (BLS)
  3. Education 3: Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree
