  • Responsible for the distribution of various hospital related materials between the Brighton Marine Health Center (BMHC) campus and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (SEMC). Also responsible for distribution of supplies and materials, mail, laundry and other items within the BMHC building.

  • On a daily basis, assist the pharmacy with mail and other miscellaneous routine work.
  • Perform courier runs between BMHC and SEMC based on the established schedule. This includes the delivery of mail, medical records, supplies, as well as other materials.
  • Respond promptly to all pages to beeper 1002.
  • Appropriately handle all “hand delivers”.
  • As needed pick up and deliver mail to the post office.
  • Ask for assistance/guidance from the General Services Coordinator as needed and vice versa.
  • Transport departmental deposits to the SEMC cashier on a daily basis.
  • Cover essential duties of the General Services Coordinator in his/her absence.
  • Place laundry orders and deliver laundry to respective areas.
  • Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.

  1. Education: High School Diploma
  2. Experience (Type & Length): One year city driving
  3. Certification/Licensure: MA Drivers license
  4. Software/Hardware: none
