Supervisor Radiology
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs and supervises all aspects of CT Scan. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision and evaluation of all technical, clerical and ancillary staff utilized in the functions of Imaging, establish and monitor effective policies and procedures to ensure the professional and ethical care of the patients served by these areas, budgetary responsibility and accountability, quality improvement and assessment, planning and implementation of future services and equipment needs. Expected to maintain high standards of technical competence and be an example and assist other technical personnel and student radiographers within the department. Technologists are required to participate in on-call coverage for the modality as part of the essentials of the job requirements.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an approved Program of Radiologic Technology
ARRT (CT) registered
Current BLS Certification
Current Florida License
Minimum of two (2) years experience in CT, leadership preferred.
