Job Summary:

Receives, controls, and stores all items maintained in inventory. Delivery of items to user departments which may include but not limited to the handling of Pharmaceutical drugs, medical equipment, med/surg. supplies, forms, and office supplies. Performs duties of Central Supply and Warehouse as needed.

Job Duties:

  • Receives supplies and equipment through physical verification and electronic transactions.
  • Stocks inventory shelves making sure stock is correctly located, properly rotated, and identified.
  • Informs appropriate personnel of changes/discrepancies in stock.
  • Assists in unloading deliveries.
  • Creates, fills, and delivers orders to nursing units from Central Supply and Warehouse locations.
  • Accurately handles and files necessary paperwork.
  • Accurately stocks Crash Carts and Intubation Boxes in Central Supply.
  • Performs issue/receive functions in computer system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Tow motor experience preferred
  • Computer skills required
  • Clearances as required by Federal and State Law
