Summary of Responsibility:

The Switchboard Operator works in conjunction with the Facilities Director to provide 24-hour communication services at the hospital switchboard. Coordinates telephone communication at Hospital essential to the delivery of community healthcare.

Shift: 32 hours, 3-11:30pm Every Other Weekend

Requirements/Education/Experience:

Familiarization with telephone terminology, adds and changes

Ability to distinguish the difference between user error and service call

Keeps others in the department aware of relevant information

Excellent customer service skills
