Position Summary:
Entry level scrub role position for newly trained/noncertified operating room technician. Assists surgeons with a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to: Cesarean Sections, Tubal Ligation, Hysterectomy, Cervical Cerclage, Dilation & Curretage. Functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Complies with the objectives and policies of the hospital and with surgical services standards of care. Required to work flexible hours and be on call nights, weekends, and holidays.


Position Qualification: (Training, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities)
Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent
One year of O.R. experience preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications:
Holds a current BLS card from the American Heart Association
