My favorite part about working at Steward Health Care is being able to meet all the patients and handing them a helping hand. My favorite memory at work was a time when a nurse told me how great of a job I was doing. It just meant so much to me. Steward Health Care is a great hospital and there is always someone that will always lend you a helping hand.

My favorite part about working at Steward are the people. We work as a team in this organization and you always feel welcome. I began my journey with Steward a year ago and everyone is always willing to answer any questions that I may have, help with any challenges I may face and help me succeed in any task that I am given. I have never worked with such an encouraging, supportive and helpful group of people. The employees in this organization go above and beyond their normal duties to make sure we are giving excellent care and are continuing to extend to incoming patients. The morale in this organization is by far the best atmosphere I have had the opportunity to be in. I can say that Steward is aimed towards success through their employees and helping their patients. The sky is the limit for this organization and it shows throughout each work day through all employees, including senior leadership. Steward is always looking on a way to improve or to change in a positive way.

My favorite part about working at Steward Health Care is the community of people I work around daily. These are good people. We are able to help someone every day. I love the positive atmosphere and family-like interactions. My favorite memory at work was helping a patient one Saturday afternoon. She was upset and crying because she could not find her car. I walked with her until we finally found her car. She was relieved and appreciative of my help. I felt proud to have helped this women. Something as simple as a kind gesture such as this can go on for a lifetime. My hopes is she is to go off and help someone in need as well. All employees whether you work for housekeeping, dietary, administration, or nursing, we are treated as equals and are all held to the highest expectations. Many places treat housekeeping as beneath them. But, here, we are respected!
